I also have the very sad remains of a 34 willys roadster
which i think is the one from the redex trials.
A friend of mines father was telling me he had a willys
coupe for his first car and he told me where he
dumped it in the 60's when the gerbox blew up so naturaly
i went searching and found only the
bottom 4" of the grill sticking out of the ground so
i started digging and it turned out to be the 34 roadster.
apparently it was only 10 years ago it was bull dozd
into the ground along with some other 50's cars.
however there was a realy good tail light stalk laying
on the ground and the owner of the farm had
pinched the bonnet emblem of it and was kind enough to
pass it on to me.
So check out the pics below
If you have ever been told that a Willys has passed it's
use by date, well I think this is it.
It is sad about the 34 roadster but I thought I would
put a light frame in it to mock it up and display it
outside my shed as a tribute to the crap er wonderful
bits of tin, us rodders will drag home.
I am planning on making casts of the bonnet emblem at
some stage so something useful will come of the car.
Great Interior NOT !!!!!
